    • Built the engineering team from scratch to 8 engineers; handled $200M+ GMV on a fully serverless architecture, handling 100x traffic surges on Black Fridays.
    • Temporarily ran an 8-person marketing team; set up performance-marketing metrics and iteration loops.
  • VingleTech Lead
    2013–2019

    Interest-based social platform from the creators of Viki; reached 10M MAU in 2016.

    • Built the iOS app (AppKit / Obj-C), the web frontend (EmberJS, Angular, then React), and the backend (Ruby on Rails, later Node.js).
    • Migrated the whole backend from a Ruby on Rails monolith to TypeScript / Node.js serverless microservices, cutting server cost by 80%.
